Municipal Office

The Village of Granisle Municipal Office, located at #1 Village Square, is comprised of several Departments providing services to Mayor and Council and to the residents of Granisle.

Christmas Hours

Village Office will be open December 24, 2012 from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
                              closed  December 25, and December 26, 2012
                                 open December 27 and 28 from 8:30 am-12:00 pm, 1:00 - 5:00 pm
                                          December 31 from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
                              closed January 1, 2013

Hours of Operation:  8:30 - noon, 1:00 - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.  Closed weekends and Statutory Holidays.

Administration -  Function is to administer the operation of the municipality in accordance with policies, bylaws and direction set by Council.  Administration is responsible for the day to day operations of the municipality.  Municipal staff includes:

Finance -  Function is to administer the financial management of the municipality.  Information on Property Taxes, Payments, Licenses, and other financial related items.

Public Works - Function is to provide a variety of services to the community.  These functions include the operation and maintenance of water collection and distribution, waste water collection & treatment, road maintenance, recreation facility maintenance, solid waste collection (commercial and residential) and maintenance of all municipal buildings.

Fire Department  -  Function is to provide fire protection service.  Village of Granisle has a Volunteer Fire Department that consists of 17 members.

2013 June Open Dart Tournament

June 7 & 8, 2013 Mixed doubles start Friday @ 8:00 pm and the rest of the events to follow on Saturday starting at 10:00 am. Featuring $900.00 added purse, a basket raffle, lotto and bottle draws.
